Tobey's fond of watching the front loading washing machine doing its job. Cats are so easy to entertain. Bad to the Bones

After a particularly pleasant morning stroll, I was enjoying a nice cup of Latte at an outside cafe and was thinking to myself looking at my pretty Airedale lying quietly at my feet, "Ah, she's come a long way. Look how well-behaved she now is."
Next moment, I saw my formerly conceived to be perfectly docile and content Airedale flying out into the sidewalk charging like a beast at a delivery truck that happened to be stopped in front of us at red light. She was attached to a steel wall hook, so no real danger to her, but it certainly scared the heck out of everyone including me. What the he$$ happened? This is the offending truck in Teddy's eyes. At first I thought perhaps the driver teased her or looked "funny" at her, but then it dawned on me. The logo of the Black Cat Yamato (Kuroneko Yamato) Delivery Service shows two cats ... which is a bit similar to the logo of a bakery in NY whose trucks never failed to elicit an oomph charge from Teddy. It's called the Tom Cat Bakery. You see the big cat on the truck? One would never guess that this seeming killer of a terrier is perfectly fine to live with the feline persuasion. Go figure. There stands a grand Georgian mansion. Entry into its space is a time trip into another world in another time. The dining room is opulent and the food is succulent. The service is excellent and the experience is magnificient. It is most certainly worthy for the most special occasion.
And did I say this is in the middle of Tokyo in the 21st century??? In terms of dining and culinary satisfaction, Tokyo gets ☆☆☆. The Georgian Club 1-6-4 Nishiazabu, Minato-ku, Tokyo 03-5412-7177 |
