Bear Necessities of LifeMusings of Teddy Bear Necessity's Household
to Whom It May Concern To Sleep or Not to Sleep
2009.11.30 (Mon)
Tobey is really sleepy but is apprehensive about sleeping with all the commotions around him. The blurry monsters fighting over a stuffed goose. I wonder how long this toy will last. Fans

Eating anything on walks would ensure getting the full attentions of the kerries.
Louie is making sure that daddy doesn't have anything more to give him. Princess and the Pea

Not that Zoey would neither notice nor care even if there were a little pea under her "mattress." Destructive Force

Sakura the Destroyer has done it again.
Sakura, you did it again! "Anything wrong?" "I didn't do this." Unlike the time when she got caught red-handed chewing up mommy's shoes, Sakura the destroyer feels no remorse about killing her own toy. Louie the gentle soul, on the other hand, is already ready to apologize for whatever crime that he may or may not have committed (he didn't). It's okay, beasts, disintegrating it or playing with it, it was fun for you right? This toy, Nobbly Wobbly, claims to "keep your dog entertained for several hours." Ha! It took less than 5 minutes for Sakura to send it to the toy heaven. A Dog Thief

I've written before about the problem of dog theft (something like 500 pets go missing everyday in UK). Sakura is so alarmed by its statistics that she is refusing to go with anybody but mommy.
That includes daddy. One time, we all went to the park together but I alone came back on the bus. Sakura didn't see me getting on the bus but she did see that I was being left behind (at the bus stop). Sakura did not like that. She apparently became so distraught that she kept stopping and looking back on the entire journey back home. Her worried demeanor even made a concerned old lady feel the urge to inquire if she was his dog. The British people as a rule do not seem to meddle with strangers. I think that says something about the fuss Sakura was making. Teddy used to do exactly the same thing. If I fell behind, she'd stop and refuse to walk further away until I caught up. (You can see the photos of this in my Japanese blog entry: click here.) I find it very endearing, of course, but it's not that amusing for Russell the chopped liver. But it's okay. We now have Louie the love-is-equal boy. He has no problem going with daddy .. or with anyone else, for that matter, I suspect. "Hurry, hurry, mommy. I'm being stolen!" Their body languages speak volume. |
